Know the Art of Making a Leverage

By Mark Kreyman

A lot of people have the wrong concept about multi-level marketing. These individuals commonly think it is producing as many guaranteed signups to beat their competition. It is not. Rather it is by knowing how to leverage your network to your advantage so you and they can profit from the business.

What Is Leveraging?

Leveraging is exhausting your resources to earn more income without spending too much time and effort. It generally is based on the Pareto principle: 80 percent of profit comes from 20 percent of work.

Here is an illustration: Every day you get to sell 10 of the product worth $5. In other words, you earn $50 per day or $1,500 every month. On the other hand, if you can get 3 more people to do the same thing for you and they sell the same number and profit at the same price, then you can boost your income to $1,500 more -- and you are not breaking a sweat!

How do you achieve that?

One, you look for people who work as much as you. You have been in that business because of your passion, commitment, and desire to earn and help others. These three -- and perhaps more -- shall be your guiding light in selecting the network. Look for people who are interested in your business and are willing to buy and sell to their own network later.

Two, show them how to do it. A lot of MLM heads start to consider they have the weakest network. Thus, they are not getting more profit. Could be. Meanwhile another explanation is they do not know how to sell. Just because some of them have marketing degrees does not mean they know how to negotiate and close a deal. It takes special skills to accomplish that. But as a mentor, it is your job to give them the right resources then develop their sales methods.

Three, motivate them. You have been there before. Selling is not the easiest thing to do, particularly if you already have a lot of competitors and starting out. Your guaranteed signups are in that position today. Thus, constantly inspire them to not permit rejections and challenges dampen their spirits.
