"The Breakfast Club" has probably every clique you can imagine there being in high school. Between people coming from rich families to the supposed nerds, there's no question that people are going to find themselves working under different titles. Andrew Clark is no exception and he is what many people would consider to be the athlete of the group, being an avid wrestler. Compression socks may not be the most common tool to utilize but I could imagine Clark taking advantage of them.
Considering that Clark is an athletic type of person, you would expect him to do much of the physical work. For instance, Principal Vernon once had Clark prop up a bookshelf as a doorstop since it would not stay open by design. Clark has a lot to live up to as a varsity letterman and you can only imagine just how humbling being stuck in Saturday detention had been for him. He might think about how he would change his game during this time.
Clark is an amateur wrestler through and through and his level of competitiveness is one that has been instilled in him since childhood. He was told by his father to win without fail and that's what he attempted to do during each match. It must have been troubling to lose a bout with the school, though, and be rewarded with detention. Something like that has to eat Clark up inside, seeing as how he would perceive Saturday detention as a loss.
One can't very well erase an academic blemish like detention, so how exactly would Clark find himself winning again? When it comes to wrestling, there's probably a good deal of strain that goes to his legs and feet, which is why I recommend compression socks being put to use. I don't know if there are many companies like PRO Compression which specifically work with these socks but they deserve to be looked at. For Clark's sake, it may be the best investment he could make.
When it comes to winning, I dare say that kids in high school have the most drive to do so. They want to be able to leave a lasting impression but sometimes being able to do so doesn't mean that you should go about the act. Sometimes you may want to consider what's within the playing field and Clark is someone who needs to grow up and realize this. Hopefully the detention that was done on Saturday can help to open his eyes.
